-Warner Bros, the studio that made this movie has already donated over $500,000 to various non-profit organizations to build housing for those families that have been kicked off their land by diamond companies, and to children who have had their limbs cut off by giving them prosthetics.

"Blood Diamond" isn't about racism or prejudice - this movie is about HUMANITY.

Did you know there are currently over 200,000 child soldiers between the ages of 8-18 in Africa right now?

Did you know that Diamond companies are lying to you about diamonds being "rare." Lets say that a diamond company digs up a million diamonds in Africa in one year. They will only put out 100,000 of those diamonds to retailers like Tiffayn's, Zales, and other diamond sellers. The rest of those diamonds they hide in private vaults. Why?? So they can control the supply and demand of diamonds which is why diamonds are so expensive.

Diamond companies like DeBeers don't want you to see this movie!

Were you under the impression that slavery no longer exists? All over Africa there are hundreds of thousands of slaves working in diamond mines for less than a dollar a day. They have been kidnapped from their local villages, and put into working in diamond fields for 16 hours a day!

Some of you have said that we only want people to see this movie so we can make some money. Let me assure you that Warner Bros, the studio that made this movie, has already donated over $500,000 to various non-profit organizations to build housing for those families that have been kicked off their land by diamond companies, and to children who have had their limbs cut off by giving them prostetics.

The more money this movie makes, the more money Warner Bros. will donate to Africa, and help these people. We don't expect you to donate any money, all we ask is that you spread the word.

If everyone stopped buying diamonds for one year - did you know that diamond companies would have no choice but to decrease the price of diamonds??
