A topic worth talking about...

The only race one need recognize is the human race. What is this phenomenon whereby people agree with their identity as separate from another? African American, Asian American, Latino, etc...

News flash: We are all from Africa are we not? I'm not sure about everyone else in regards to their educational history, but wasn't everyone taught that the cradle of civilization was in Mesopotamia? Perhaps we should all just call ourselves Mesopotamians so that we may once and for all do away with all this perverted racism.

The main point of contention that has triggered my need to write this observation is the phenomenon of the election of Barack Obama. Everyone talks about him being "black".. Although everyone identifies him as "black," his mother is "white", so actually, he is just as much white as he is black.. But what is the difference between black or white really except an adaptation of our physiology based upon cultures residing for long periods of time in areas closer or farther from Earth's Equator? Our exposure to our respective environments have led to the adaptations of our respective features.

So this whole desire of the present press to analyze demographics of how many "whites" or "blacks" voted is a total affront to a supposedly evolved society. It is a travesty, because it shows just how ignorant the masses still are in relation to humanity. There is no such thing as a minority in this world save the evolutionary mind that rejects racism in all its insidious forms.. Having said that, I am proud to be a part of that minority.

So when anyone asks you on those HR forms when you apply for work what race you identify with, be sure to write in the box for "other" and fill in the blank as "human."

The human race is the only race we need identify with..
